Cannizaro House a four-star boutique hotel is located in an idyllic location in Wimbledon Village overlooking Wimbledon Common and Cannizaro Park, and is less than 10 miles from Central London.
Built in 1705, this Georgian residence was named after the Duke & Duchess of Cannizaro who needed a residence for their friends when they came to visit them in the country. After being a private residence it became a hotel in 1987. Having gone through a full refurbishment in 2009 it has now become one of south London’s best boutique hotels.

Each guestroom is individually designed and luxuriously decorated with plush furniture in larger than average size rooms with the use of soft tones, some with a park view. Marble accented bathrooms and fine toiletries add to the welcoming elegance.
Freshly ground Fair Trade coffee is available in every room along with complimentary home-made shortbread.
Guests will also find a seasonal tipple in their room, it could be plum brandy, sloe gin, a good sherry or a full-bodied Pinot; it all depends on the time of year.

The award-winning 2 rosette Cannizaro House restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner offering a British menu with a European twist. For those that may want a picnic in the park, the hotel is pleased to prepare a picnic basket on request.
There are also a number of restaurants in the nearby village.
The Cocktail Bar has a relaxing atmosphere in a chic setting and features a Grand Piano.
Afternoon tea is served in the drawing room.
In summer there is a croquet lawn and terrace that is perfect for Champagne and strawberries (synonymous with Wimbledon tennis).
The hotel also 6 meeting rooms, the largest of which having a 100 capacity.
